Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actress, activist for animals and writer who was awarded numerous Awards. Ali MacGraw is famous for films such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was drawn to becoming an artist was in part influenced by her upbringing as a member of the New York family of artists. She began working as a photo assistant after that she moved on to acting and modeling. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and was awarded the Golden Globe Award for Most Popular Newcomer. MacGraw's 1970 film Love Story proved a major success and earned her international recognition and an Academy Award' nomination and an Academy Award nomination and a Golden Globe award. Within three years, MacGraw was ranked as the most popular female box-office participant in the entire world. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were engraved in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other credits include The Getaway Convoy Players, television miniseries The Winds of War and many more. In 1991, her autobiography Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw was married three times.
