Summer Bishil

Summer Bishil, an American actor, is famous for playing Margo Hanson on the Syfy fantasy series "The Magicians" (2015 until present). She had previously gained recognition as the character of 13-year-old Lebanese American girl Jasira Maroun who goes through emotional and traumatic experiences against the backdrop the U.S. military's invasion of Iraq in the Gulf War in the Alan Ball film 'Towelhead'. The film was later chosen in 2007 for a spot on the "Variety 10 actors to watch'. She was also a key character, Taslima Jahangir, in the crime drama film "Crossing Over", for which she received a nomination for an Independent Spirit Award' in the 'Best Female Leading' category. She has also acted in films such as 'Mooz-lum", 'The last Airbender", "Pop Star" as well as 'Under The Silver Lake', and has played various guest roles on TV, apart from playing the co-lead of 'Lucky 7'.
